Service Charge Accountant

We are actively recruiting for a detail-orientated and proactive Service Charge Accountant. Working alongside our team, your role will be to take ownership of service charge accounts across a diverse residential portfolio. You’ll ensure accurate budgeting, timely reconciliations, and clear financial reporting for our clients and leaseholders.

Qualifications

Previous experience in service charge accounting (residential block management preferred)

Strong knowledge of leasehold accounting principles and service charge legislation

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Experience preparing budgets, year-end accounts, and liaising with external auditors

AAT, ACCA, or similar qualification (or working towards) is desirable

Recent Projects and Campaigns:

Since 2023, our team has been on the ground, passionately raising funds for Shelter through community initiatives, such as bucket collections. We are extending our reach by targeting further fundraising efforts at upcoming industry networking events, reinforcing our commitment to creating positive change.

Employee Involvement:

Our employees are the heartbeat of our CSR efforts. They actively engage in sporting and fitness challenges, leveraging these opportunities to fundraise for causes close to our hearts, including Children's Cancer Fund, Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Shelter, and more.

Partnerships and Collaborations:

While we collaborate closely with J-Living, JBD, Forward Housing, and Shelter, we are currently exploring additional partnerships to expand the reach and impact of our CSR initiatives.
